Slowly but surely, people are sitting up and taking notice of the mental healthcare crisis currently raging in the United States. Check out this excellent, concise documentary news feature about the many crises affecting patients across the full spectrum of society. It’s funny, bitingly so, and touches on the compounding factors of difficulty which face patients of color, especially Black patients, low income patients, and crucially, those without insurance. Solutions are vaguely touched on, as well, although they are not the focus of the piece. Rather, it does a great job pointing out just how varied the problems of the mental healthcare sector are.
